We had a wonderful stay at Doble Uva at the beginning of November 2011, this is a lovely little complex and we would recommend it because of its lovely peaceful location and the lovely warm welcome from Marilyn and Bob wbleepedrun it. We have been to Lanzarote many times over the last 30 years and stayed in many different apartments around the area, but these are one of the best we have stayed in and hope to return in 2012. Nice and close to all the bars, restaurants and supermarkets and just a two minute stroll to the beach and walkway along the sea front.
stayed for 4 weeks oct/nov 2011,lovely clean bungalows ideal position close to supermarkets,restaurants and the beach.lovely flat traffic free walks in both directions along seafront. it might have taken us nearly 40 years of comming to lanzarote to find the friendliest complex on the island but we have now.bob and marilyn couldn`t be more friendly and helpfull,be back in january _ see you then

we visited double uve in July, it was recommended by a friend of ours. We had a great time, lovely and relaxing, weather fantastic, supermarkets and restaurants on your doorstep, didnt have far to go for a quiet drink and meet other people. Bob and Marylin are very nice people, always friendly and very obliging. We have booked to go back in July 2012 and looking forward to it. Have passed the details of the bungelows to myfriends and hopefully they will stay there sometime. Roll onJuly 2012

The bungalows are clean, peaceful and perfect for a totally relaxing holiday. Marilyn and Bob do all you could ask for to make your stay the best it can be.

We stayed here in January 2011, (my husband is in the forefront of the photos by the pool) This was our second visit to Matagorda Horizons and I would recommend it as a quiet peaceful place to recharge your batteries. It is less than 100m to the promenade/beach ( soft and sandy). The bungalows are clean , comfortable and spacious and everything you need is on the doorstep, two small supermarkets and many choices of restaurant about 50m away.
It is a 10min/10 euro taxi ride from the airport. And about a 1.5hrs walk to Arrecife along the prom, or the other direction to the old town of Puerto del Carmen,(stopping on the way for coffee). It is always possible to get a bus or taxi back!!.
Marilyn and Bob are very friendly, helpful and efficient, from booking the holiday to booking the taxi back to the Airport.
In my opinion this small and friendly complex is best suited to couples of any age.

Brillianr bungalows. We have stayed quite a few times and each time has been a wonderful relaxing experience. Marilyn and Bob cannot do enough for you. Well equipped and clean bungalows. Even the cleaning lady enjoys her job and is always singing as she works!!!
